Chemistry Test – Cannabis Potency

$125.00 N/A

Chemistry Test – Cannabis Potency: Determination of 4 cannabinoids (9-THC, THCA, CBD, CBDA) in any cannabis product by validated liquid chromatography method.

Health Canada requires that cannabis products be tested for levels of levels of 9-THC (delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol), THCA (tetrahydrocannabinolic acid), CBD (cannabidiol) and CBDA (cannabidiolic acid). From the measured concentration of these 4 compounds, two additional parameters are calculated: Total Potential THC and Total Potential CBD.

For hemp cultivators, with the passage of the Cannabis Act, Health Canada now permits the extraction of cannabinoids from Hemp. Cultivators can grow plants from the List of Approved Cultivars. New cultivars are added every year, many new additions feature higher levels of CBD than previous industrial hemp genetics. For pedigree hemp seed producers, Health Canada requires that the parent stock be tested for 9-THC and that these results be reported. Our test for cannabinoids meets the Health Canada requirements for 9-THC reporting for pedigree seed producers and assists hemp cultivators with profiling their crops.
